EYVOL hosts the first conference on International Sport Volunteerism
The First International Conference on Sport Volunteerism took place on 27 November 2019, at the Maison du Handball in Creteil (Paris), France. The conference was organized within the framework of the ‘Empowering Youth Volunteers through Sport’ (EYVOL) project, a transnational and multi-sectoral initiative co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union, involving partners from the Olympic Movement, the United Nations, Academia and civil society.

The IYE-LABS social volunteering project – co-financed by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union – formally started its training actions this September, which are simultaneously taking place in Spain, Italy, Croatia and Turkey.
2nd EYVOL Kick-off Meeting in Lisbon
Last 17th July 2019, the second kick-off meeting for the project EYVOL – “Empowering Youth Volunteers through Sport” took place in Lisbon, Portugal. The international coalition of organizations from the Olympic Movement, the United Nations, Academia and civil society met to continue the implementation phase of the two-year project co-funded by the European Union within the Erasmus+ programme and aimed at developing a common framework on “Sport Volunteerism”.
garagErasmus, in the front line to bring young people to the polls!
garagErasmus Foundation is quite satisfied about the results of the “Erasmus Vote Power: active citizens for an active Europe!” project. All in all, we organised 29 offline events all around Europe and an online campaign covering all the EU official languages. garagErasmus estimates that the project disseminated information about the elections to an estimated total of 20.000 people.
garagErasmus holds its Annual Meeting 2019 in Malaga
garagErasmus awards the Hungarian student Orsoliya Réka Süli as the best talent of the Erasmus Generation with the Golden Laissez-Passer.

On 26 May 2019, garagErasmus was one of the organisations holding a stand at the Esplanade Solidarność 1980, in front of the European Parliament in Brussels, to follow the results of the European Elections live, where we had the opportunity to explain our activities and projects to the people who approached us.

The Laissez-Passer Tour 2019
This year on the occasion of launching the second edition of Golden Laissez-Passer, we visited several European locations to encourage more people from the Erasmus Generation to apply and become Erasmus Talent of the year. Our tour started with pre-launch in Brussels and ended in Málaga, where the winner will be announced.
The Golden Laissez-Passer 2019 is officially launched!
The goal of the Laissez-Passer is to create a connection between the Erasmus generation and privates, companies, recruiters and philanthropists that want to support the most emblematic programme of the European Union.

On the night 25th of January, the award ceremony of the Golden Laissez-Passer took place with the victory of Konstantinos Maragkos, a 25-years old young professional from Greece.
