Annual Meeting 2026

Hosted by Università Suor Orsola Benincasa, gE Foundation Member, the event will convene the garagErasmus network together with institutional stakeholders, partner organisations, and, new for this edition, selected external participants.

The Annual Meeting represents a key institutional moment for the Foundation to reinforce cooperation among its members, engage with European and national stakeholders, and contribute to ongoing reflections on the future of learning mobility in Europe.

In this context, and as the Erasmus+ programme approaches its 40th anniversary, the 2026 edition will focus on the transition from programme to ecosystem, exploring how Erasmus+ can further mobilise skills, talent, and cross-sectoral collaboration.

Particular attention will be devoted to emerging priorities such as the recognition of mobility through micro-credentials, the role of alumni communities in strengthening the Erasmus ecosystem, and structural challenges including access to housing. The event will also provide a platform to discuss the strategic direction of the Foundation and its policy and project priorities for 2026-2027.

For the first time, participation is open beyond the Foundation membership.
