EYVOL hosts the first conference on International Sport Volunteerism

The First International Conference on Sport Volunteerism took place on 27 November 2019, at the Maison du Handball in Creteil (Paris), France. The conference was organized within the framework of the ‘Empowering Youth Volunteers through Sport’ (EYVOL) project, a transnational and multi-sectoral initiative co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union, involving partners from the Olympic Movement, the United Nations, Academia and civil society.

2nd EYVOL Kick-off Meeting in Lisbon

Last 17th July 2019, the second kick-off meeting for the project EYVOL – “Empowering Youth Volunteers through Sport” took place in Lisbon, Portugal. The international coalition of organizations from the Olympic Movement, the United Nations, Academia and civil society met to continue the implementation phase of the two-year project co-funded by the European Union within the Erasmus+ programme and aimed at developing a common framework on “Sport Volunteerism”.

Last 20 February of 2019, an international coalition of organizations from the Olympic Movement, the United Nations, Academia and civil society has started today EYVOL – “Empowering Youth Volunteers through Sport”, a two-year project co-funded by the European Union within the Erasmus+ programme and aimed at developing a common framework on “Sport Volunteerism”. in Athens, Greece.
