Brand Me

Overview on the project

Experts believe that job satisfaction trends can affect labour market behaviour, work productivity, employee absenteeism and staff turnover, as well as being a strong predictor of overall individual well-being. However, it has been seen that young individuals aged 20-34 struggle in the transition from education to work due to increased demand for highly skilled people  and competitiveness in the job market.

What is Brand Me’s general aim?

“Brand Me” goal is for young talents to learn how to promote and brand themselves as professionals and “sell” their skills in the job market, in order to be noticed and hired by companies and HR recruiters. The BAM project aims to facilitate the access to relevant and qualitative learning resources and increase employment opportunities for youth. BAM proposes the elaboration of educational resources and instruments that foster participation of youth in the labour market and develop their professionalism to become more recognized and competitive. The project also strives to strengthen the profiles of professionals operating in this sector, by increasing the awareness of the need to develop career paths from early stages of life and later.

What are Brand Me’s purposes?

Project’s general objectives are to:

Identify and define the 12 essential digital-presentation skills to support youth workers to train NEETs on the topic of personal branding;

Create most relevant educational resources responding to 12 skills and competences in personal branding strategies and practices;

Reduce the employment mismatch, by training youth in NEET group;

Inspire youth to continue developing their careers and promoting themselves.
