Call for Trainers
garagErasmus Foundation is looking for two trainers to facilitate two sessions of the Learning Garage, to be held online between end of March-end of April 2024 . The participants of the events will be Erasmus Alumni coming from all over Europe.

El LEARNING GARAGE offers online training sessions with CEOs, entrepreneurs, HR experts and specialists of the job market counting with a successful experience in the field of education.
El objetivo de estas sesiones es dotar a los futuros licenciados de competencias profesionales y de búsqueda de empleo, dándoles también respuestas y sugerencias concretas sobre el mercado laboral actual y consejos pertinentes para los participantes.
The COVID-19 pandemic has caused a significant disorientation among graduates who were about to enter their working life, demoralisation and fear on how to overcome this sudden and unforeseen situation. This is the reason why we would like to provide opportunities for youngsters to boost their confidence and adapt to new circumstances as they appear.
Tasks and responsibilities of the trainers:
- Cooperate with the garagErasmus Secretariat and have regular communication with the team;
- Develop and prepare with the organizers the overall program and working methodology;
- Prepare session outlines for the proposed session;
- Facilitate the sessions and provide a suitable learning environment for all participants;
- Have an evaluation with gE Secretariat during the training and a final evaluation after the event.
- Prepare a final report 2 weeks after the training at the latest
Requirements
- Being an Erasmus Alumni
- Ability to develop an educational approach based on the principles and values of non-formal education
- Ability to transfer knowledge and values related to the activity to the group of learners in an online format
- Sensitivity to diversity and inclusion.
- Ability to deal constructively with disagreements
- Ability to create an inspiring and safe learning environment
- Ability to stimulate active participation, by motivating and empowering learners
- Ability to manage a linguistically diverse group of young people
- Proficient user of English language
- Familiarity with topics such as the European Union and youth participation is an asset
Finances
Facilitator fee paid by the organizer after the submission of the facilitator report.

Call for Communication and Project Officer
Are you passionate about Erasmus+ and international exchanges? Do you want to gain experience in communications and project management? We can’t wait to have you on board!
A Communication and Project offer position of 6 months is available in the operational office of garagErasmus in Brussels, at the heart of the European cluster, in a young, professional and international environment.
Location: Brussels
Start date: April 2024
Hours: Full-time
PROFILE:
- High motivation, willingness to learn and a responsible, proactive attitude;
- Communication skills and the ability to work both in a team and independently;
- Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite;
- Strong written and spoken English; knowledge of French is a plus.
DESIRABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:
- Previous experience or a strong interest in garagErasmus areas of activity (higher education/economic and social innovation) and non-profit work;
- Knowledge of other EU languages, especially French and Italian ;
- Previous experience and/or studies in communication;
- Previous experience in EU project management is a plus;
- Previous engagement in NGOs or youth organisation is considered positively;
- Basic knowledge of Mailchimp, WordPress, Canva, main Social media channels, video editing tools.
TASKS
- Support in the drafting and scheduling of social media posts;
- Support in the designing of visuals/video editing;
- Support in the organisation of garagErasmus events and activities (conferences, online activities and projects, annual meeting, events with universities, etc.);
- Facilitate the working relationship with gEMembers and gE4s (local sections);
- Support in project applications & project management;
- Support in the management of relations with both public and private stakeholders, particularly in Belgium.
- Performance of various administrative tasks;
WE OFFER
- CIP contract of 6 months under Belgian law (around 1200 Eur net) with possibility to prolong the contract
- Lunch vouchers + travel reimbursements when travelling for gE
