The importance of micro-credentials is rising in the EU

It is not a secret that the European Education Area needs to advance its micro-credentials recognition system in order to promote the re-skilling and up-skilling of workers. garagErasmus Foundation, which strives for a job market that can better value international experiences, welcomes the efforts of European Civil societies to find solutions on the matter. The International Micro-Credential Summit in Barcelona by Knowledge Innovation Center, DHBW & Universitat Oberta de Catalunya in March has laid down important recommendations, especially regarding interoperability, digital transformation, quality standards, and social inclusion.
