On the 15th of November the participants were welcomed by Thomas Wobben, Director for Legislative Work of the Committee of the Regions, as well as Christian Mangold, Director General for Communications of the European Parliament, who gave the participants an insight into the political context of the new legislature. Then, Philipp Schulmeister, Director for Campaigns of the EP, answered questions in regards to how to reach out to the youth through the current communication campaigns. 

Youth organisations then tried to work out what has worked well when working with the EP and Liaison Offices so far, e.g. whether there have been some barriers or what has been made possible by the partnership.

After lunch, participants had the chance to think about innovative ideas and proposals for action to communicate about the EP and its work.
