On March 9th, Cáritas Coimbra and the Instituto Pedro Nunes promoted the presentation event of the project Digital Life Learning which intends to develop a set of tools (toolkit) and training sessions to increase the digital skills of older adults, with the active collaboration of young university students. During the session, the main objectives, the methodologies to be applied and the next actions to be developed in the implementation of the Portuguese pilot in Coimbra were presented.
Several entities of reference in the field of education and active and healthy ageing participated at the event, namely the Gerontology and Active Ageing Office of Coimbra City Hall, the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences – University of Coimbra, the Miguel Torga Higher Institute, the Rainha Santa Isabel Centre, the São Pedro Social Centre, the Coimbra Higher School of Education, and the Humanus Institute representatives of the Senior School Education Programme.
