To celebrate together Europe Day on May 9, the students involved in the project “From School to EU” met virtually to present their project proposals to their peers, school staff, families and representatives from public institutions. On that day Istituto d’Istruzione Superiore Da Vinci in Arzignano (Italy), OGEC Françoise Cabrini in Noisy-Le Grand (France) and IES Etxebarri BHI in Etxebarri (Spain) hosted a hybrid presentation event to let their local communities discover about the project “From School to EU” and the proposals students – called EU Ambassadors – have been working on for weeks focused on:

  • Eco-sustainability in schools
  • Social inclusion in local communities
  • Digital policies for young people

Each topic has been studied and deepened in working groups made of students from each school who have met several times to produce proposals thanks to the support of teachers and European experts. The presentation event has been the occasion for exchange and present their ideas which will be voted by a jury and the online community in the next months. The winning proposal will be determined in September and lather on presented to a MEP in Brussels during the trip organized for the winning group to get to know EU institutions.
