Handshake project concludes successfully

Our Handshake project has concluded successfully, making significant strides in fostering inclusion and integration in Paris, Brussels and Milan. Through the implementation of a web app and the provision of social inclusion guides, the project has offered valuable support to expats and young foreigners navigating the challenges of living in a new city. Engaging events and insightful discussions provided participants with a platform to share their experiences and contribute to the continuous improvement of the project. Building on the positive outcomes and enthusiastic support received from local communities, universities, and civil society organisations, the project partners are determined to scale up its impact by exploiting the methodology developed in this first pilot phase. The Handshake project has made a lasting impact on the European cities involved, empowering individuals from diverse backgrounds and exemplifying the commitment to promoting social inclusion and integration.
