Erasmus Vote

Defending the voting rights of Italian Erasmus students

In February 2013, on the occasion of the Italian political elections, a legal quibble impeded Erasmus students abroad from voting in their host countries.  For this reason, garagErasmus launched a fundraising initiative called #erasmusvote to pay in part for the return of Erasmus students to allow them to vote.

The initiative was possible thanks to the contributions of the sponsors: KPMG, a leading network of professional services to businesses and global leader in auditing, accounting, consulting and legal and administrative management tax services; and Power and Potenza & Partners in Milan, a group practice of chartered accountants specializing in assisting national and international clientele.
