Antonia Caro-Gonzalez is based in Spain and has 25 years of experience in internationalisation in the research and innovation

Toñi Caro is currently senior researcher, lecturer and Director of the International Research Project Office (IRPO) at Valencian International University (VIU) and Senior Social Innovation Researcher at Foundation I2Cat. Her research interest are N-Helix Social Innovation Ecosystems, transformational management and leadership and societal impact of R&I. She counts with more than 20 years of experience in research management.

Toñi holds a Ph.D. in Social Sciences and at present is researching social innovation, employment and innovation management of research. She has been engaged with the Erasmus programme since its inception in the 1990s, when she participated in its pilot by completing study exchanges in Ireland and Finland.
