garagErasmus Foundation & the Dante Aligheri Language Institute of Recanati are organising the Accelerator of Italian Language & Culture Introductory Session on 22 December 2020 at 4PM-7PM CET: join it through this form! Students will benefit, not only from intensive Italian language courses, but also webinars on culture, habits, customs and even cooking.
garagErasmus Foundation, together with the Italian National Agency Erasmus+ Indire, is really glad to announce THE + OF ERASMUS!
The COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted professional and academic activities around the world and inevitably affects activities under the Erasmus + programme. Studying abroad is very different for Erasmus students due to travel restrictions, closed campuses, mixed education classes and social distancing. We are well aware that the crucial aspect of mobility – i.e. sociality – is in danger but we are convinced that the programme has great benefits despite the particular historical moment that we are going through.
GaragErasmus feels a big responsibility in this moment: being composed by Alumni of the Erasmus programme that learnt the most important lessons of their life during the period abroad, the Foundation wants to act in first line to protect the Erasmus programme and its future.
For the above reasons, the garagErasmus Foundation and the National Agency Erasmus+ Indire, jointly developed a project made of activities addressed to all the incoming students in Italy and Italian outgoing students /international studentsthat unequivocally underline the value, even in a difficult period, of the studies and internships carried out thanks to the Erasmus+ program.
Thus, together we are trying to turn a period of great difficulty into an opportunity to improve the Erasmus experience.
Another aspect is of crucial importance for us: supporting and relaunching the image of Italy, which is a destination of the Erasmus favoured by many students and international trainees, who is now is in serious difficulty and will need of targeted actions to fully recover its attractiveness.
The project will be declined in the following activities
1. Learning Garage
CEOs, entrepreneurs, human resources experts and specialists of the labour market will hold lessons online, with an interactive part also for questions and comments. The speakers, who also have great experience in the educational world, will give important suggestions to the participants on how to approach the job market during and after the pandemic
2 sessions of 12 hours each: February 2021 + April 2021
2. ACCELERATOR of Italian language and culture
In collaboration with the Dante Alighieri Language Institute of Recanati, students will benefit, not only from intensive Italian language courses, but also webinars on culture, habits, customs and even cooking.
Three sessions of 12 hours each:
Introduction on 22 December + 3 sessions: January 2021 + March 2021 + May 2021
3. Talents Match
Companies and young people will be invited in a virtual room with international talents, in addition to Italian students currently in Erasmus. Each of them will undergo a “blind interview” (the company’s recruiter will not have a “blind interview” – no information about the candidate) and will have 10 minutes to persuade the recruiter to get back in touch with him or her for a full interview.
Two sessions: March 2021 + June 2021
Obviously, if conditions allow it, we will also plan cultural and leisure moments, as well as a final live event in order to give students some moments of aggregation in a historical moment when their Erasmus has been deprived of this kind of moments. It will be a unique opportunity for alumni to get to know the Agency, the Foundation and to network and open up to the world of work.
Stay tuned to know more about THE + OF ERASMUS!
