gE is hiring a Project Officer in Brussels!

The garagErasmus Foundation is looking for a Project Officer for the European Secretariat of the organisation in Brussels.

Main activities:

  • Organization from A to Z of events with and for the Erasmus Generation, in Belgium and all over Europe;
  • Organization of statutory meetings;
  • Implementation of funded European projects;
  • Preparation of open calls for positions and participants
  • Communication tasks connecting with the project implementation 
  • Contribution to writing new projects.

Requirements:

  • Languages: English (excellent written and spoken level) and French. Working language: English;
  • Interest in European mobility and Educational European policies;
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and organisational skills;
  • Flexibility and accuracy;
  • Willingness to grow in a young and dynamic team;
  • Willingness to travel within Europe;
  • Proven experience in organising international events, European projects and transnational communication campaigns;
  • Be able to work independently and, when necessary, under pressure to meet tight deadlines;
  • Experiences abroad and/or volunteering are considered a plus.

Work Location: Brussels.

Employment: CIP contract (6 months, renewable),  38 hours/week.

Start: September 2022.

La Fondazione garagErasmus  è alla ricerca di un Project Officer che, riportando direttamente al Project Manager e al Direttore della fondazione, dovrà occuparsi di tutta la gestione operativa dei progetti europei, regionali e nazionali.

Principali attività:

  • Organizzazione dalla A alla Z di eventi con e per la Generazione Erasmus, in Italia e altri Paesi Europei;
  • Organizzazione delle riunioni statutarie;
  • Implementazione dei progetti europei finanziati;
  • Contributo a scrittura di nuove progettualità.

Requisiti:

  • Lingue: Italiano e Inglese (ottimo livello scritto e parlato). Lingua di lavoro: inglese
  • Interesse per le tematiche della mobilità europee e delle politiche europee;
  • Spiccate abilità interpersonali, comunicative e organizzative;
  • Flessibilità e precisione;
  • Voglia di crescere in un team giovane e dinamico;
  • Disponibilità a trasferte in Europa;
  • Comprovata esperienza nell’organizzazione di eventi internazionali, progetti europei e campagne di comunicazione transnazionali;
  • Essere in grado di lavorare in modo indipendente e, quando necessario, sotto pressione per rispettare scadenze ravvicinate;
  • Esperienze all’estero e/o esprienze di volontariato sono considerate un plus.

Sede di Lavoro: Vicenza o San Giuliano Milanese. Possibilità di un giorno a settimana di remote-working.

Inquadramento: Iniziale tirocinio formativo retribuito (800 € + benefit) con finalità assunzione. 35 ore settimanali.

We are hiring an Administrative and financial Officer!

La Fondazione garagErasmus è alla ricerca di un Administrative and Financial Officer che, riportando direttamente al CEO della fondazione, dovrà occuparsi di tutta la gestione amministrativa della Fondazione e del suo Spin-off con sede a Bruxelles.

Le principali attività sono le seguenti:

1) Contabilità e gestione amministrativa (emissione fatture, supporto al commercialista, gestione banche, supporto gestione personale);

2) Rendicontazione di progetti finanziati nell’ambito di programmi europei, nazionali e locali;

3) Supporto amministrativo ufficio europeo di Bruxelles.

Requisiti:

  • Diploma in ragioneria o laurea in materie economiche;
  • Lingue: Italiano e Inglese (ottimo livello scritto e parlato). Lingua di lavoro: inglese
  • Interesse per le tematiche della mobilità europee e delle politiche europee;

1) Accounting and administrative management (invoicing, accountant support, bank management, personnel management support);

3) Administrative support European office in Brussels.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in accounting or degree in economics;
  • Languages: Italian and English (excellent written and spoken level). Working language: English

garagErasmus is hiring a Communications Officer in our Brussels office!

Are you passionate about Erasmus & international exchanges? Are you willing to be part of a pan-European network? We cannot wait to have you on board!

We are looking for a motivated and creative Communications Officer (CIP contract) in the operational office of garagErasmus in Brussels, at the hearth of the EU bubble, in a young professional and international environment.

Starting date: As soon as possible

Time investment:

Working time of 38 hours per week. Work during weekends may occur whenever necessary with time off in lieu as compensation. Depending on the development of  the current COVID-situation and the ability to organise international events, the position may require travels in Europe several times.

 Requirements:

  • High motivation, willingness to learn and a responsible, proactive attitude;  
  • Strong interest and good knowledge of social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedInetc)
  • Writing and content creation skills
  • Flexible and creative worker
  • Communication skills and the ability to work both in a team and independently
  • Strong written and spoken English (additional languages -Italian, French, Spanish- are a plus)
  • Knowledge of MS Office & Google Suite. Experience using Mailchimp would be considered an asset
  • Basic photo and video editing skills (ex: Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, Canva) and/or video editing skills
  • Independent user of WordPress
  • A broad vision of the future of communications, marketing, news and media with a strong understanding of the latest trends and technology.
  • Availability to travel inside the EU.
  • Keen interest in the ASBL’s areas of activity (youth, education and social innovation) and non profit work (projects/events/association management/administration, etc.)
  • Experience in the NGO sector will be considered a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Support designing and creating content for a wide range of communication materials, (brochures, leaflets, reports, newsletters, presentations and videos, branding materials,etc);
  • Social Media management and Public Relations related tasks;
  • Support in development and maintenance of the website;
  • SEO/SEM development.
  • Dissemination of projects, activities and events. If needed support with project management
  • Brainstorming support on how to generally improve our communication strategy

  • CIP contract of 6 months under Belgian law – possibility to prolong the contract
