ErasMAG – the Erasmus Magazine

ErasMAG – the Erasmus Magazine

Overview on the project

Provide a platform for students and young people participating in Erasmus+ mobilities to share their experiences living abroad, studying or training in another country. Offer news, features and multimedia content relating to study, training and mobility opportunities under Erasmus+, universities, international campuses, and European student life. Produce student-ambassador-led journalism: students who go abroad are selected, given basic journalism training, and then provide reports from their host country/university. Act as a resource to strengthen the “Erasmus culture” — helping younger students, prospective participants, and the broader public understand international mobility opportunities and what they entail.

ErasMAG Objective

The magazine is structured into several editorial sections:

  • “The students’ insights”: Reports and practical advice from mobility-students themselves (student ambassadors).

  • “Erasmus 101”: Covers news and updates on Erasmus+ scheme, mobility, study and training abroad topics.

  • “Universities”: Features about European universities, campuses, internationalisation, student services.

  • “Conversations”: Interviews and dialogues with prominent figures in mobility, education, European policy.

  • “Video”: Multimedia section with video content related to mobility, student life, interviews etc.
