European States General of the Erasmus Generation

Overview on the project

On 9 May 2018, garagErasmus took part into the European States General of the Erasmus Generation, organised together with the Italian National Agency Erasmus+ INDIRE, the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research, Erasmus Student Network Italy and Erasmus Mundus Association in Rome, Italy. The event was preceded by an online discussion, hosted by WeTipp Platform, where 200 students from all over Europe had the occasion to elaborate proposals on different topics on the future of the Erasmus+ Programme:

European States General objective

1. Enhancement of the quality of Erasmus+ mobility
Group coordinator: Mr. João Pinto, President of ESN International with the support of Mrs. Daphne Scherer, ESN Alumni.

2. Increasing the number of the Erasmus student mobility, pursuing the “Education and Training 2020” (ET 2020) European strategic framework
Group coordinator: Mr. Vittorio Gattari, President of ESN Italy.

3. Internationalization of the Erasmus Programme
Group coordinator: Ms. Francesca Valente, Head of the Erasmus unit at Alma Mater University of Bologna.

4. Physical mobility combined with virtual mobility (distance learning) in the Erasmus Programme
Group coordinator: Mr. Pavan Kumar Sriram, President of EMA Erasmus Mundus Association & Ms. Stephanie Arnold, Erasmus student at Alma Mater University of Bologna.

5. The Erasmus programme impact on employment and entrepreneurship
Group coordinator: Mr. Stefano Campanari, President of Scambieuropei.

6. Communication, dissemination and social impact of the Erasmus Programme
Group coordinator: Ms. Valentina Presa, garagErasmus Foundation.
