SEND Mobility Consortium
A strategic alliance between higher education institutes and the European job market
Overview
Managed by the SEND Mobility Consortium, the “Universities for EU Projects” project intends to promote a strategic alliance between Higher Education and the labour market in Europe, offering opportunities for mobility, traineeship and training for students, recent graduates and staff of Higher Education Institutes (HEI) in the field of Social Innovation.
These opportunities aim to strengthen the competences in line with their learning objectives and professional growth, to increase the employability of young university students and to support the personal and professional development of the HEI staff, teachers and non-HEIs. The project foresees the implementation of n. 165 traineeships for Students and n. 14 training periods for HEI staff.
Proposed Solution
In the view to create a quality “mobility system”, the Consortium’s activities will be supported by the realisation of a multi-service web platform, where it will be possible to:
1. Search for Host Organisation coherently with individual learning objectives, thanks to a campaign for vacancies supported by partners addressing to their international networks of reference.
2. View the evaluation given by other participants to the traineeship’s experiences and to training in mobility thanks to a web reputation trip-advisor like mechanism.
3. Have access to the activities of competences’ assessment, training and career guidance so to give coherence to CV, mobility and future plans.

THE SEND Mobility Consortium
The project is carried out by the Mobility Consortium, coordinated by SEND, a job agency and international mobility centre, in partnership with 15 Universities from 9 Italian Regions and 2 organizations, the garagERASMUS Foundation and the business incubator ARCA.
