Digital Life Learning project has been awarded as Best Practice!

garagErasmus is thrilled to announce that the Digital Life Learning project has been evaluated as a good practice and consequently labeled as such on the Erasmus+ Results Platform by the National Agency Erasmus+ INDIRE.

The project promoted digital education for older adults through an intergenerational approach and strengthened the teaching skills of university students. Overall, the project demonstrated excellent implementation and adaptability, creating valuable tools with strong potential for replication.

Specifically, the Digital Life Learning project was founded on the premise that digital innovation and education can be an opportunity to improve the quality of life of our ageing societies. For instance, it involved the creation of macro-laboratories for senior citizens aged between 65 and 74, aiming to enhance their digital skills.

The project was implemented in four EU countries, where trainers prepared higher education students, who in turn trained older adults. Through this experience, the students could earn micro-credentials that are useful in the labor market.
